Badminton & Squash
Sometimes size really does matter and that’s why we have not one but two of the largest sports halls in the country with 20 Badminton Courts at your disposal. There are 12 courts in the Arena and a further 8 in the Haydn Morris Hall. Both areas have sprung wooden floors. We also have five excellent glass-backed squash courts for your use.
Badminton rackets are available for hire at a cost of £1.50 and shuttlecocks can be purchased at a cost of £1.35. Squash rackets are available for hire at a cost of £2.00 and balls can be purchased at a cost of £2.80 or £3.05 for competition and professional squash balls respectively.

Squash league
If you are looking for regular squash matches with players of a similar standard then join our leagues. Application forms are on the notice board opposite the courts.
Badminton league
Sportspark organises badminton leagues offering friendly singles leagues to a variety of playing standards. So if you want to take part in a friendly but competitive badminton league, meet new people and improve your game, register to get involved today. Complete the application form and return it to Reception for the attention of Sam Batten as soon as possible.
Places will be limited but if popular then the leagues will expand. More information can be found on the badminton notice board outside hall 1.
How to Book Badminton & Squash
Members may
Book over the telephone (01603 592 398 Press Option 2) or in person.
Book up to 14 days in advance.
Cancel bookings or move them to another date up to the close of business the night before the booking (£2.00 fee applies).
Non-Members may only
Book up to 7 days in advance and are not able to move or cancel a booking.
