Soccerpark
There are more small sided soccer pitches at Sportspark than anywhere else in East Anglia. You have a choice of pitch sizes and surfaces.
The four 5-a-side pitches are surrounded by rebound boards and netting. The surface is state of the art 3G synthetic grass filled with a rubber crumb. Plus we have three new 7-a-side state of the art 3G synthetic grass pitches which were added to the Soccerpark in January 2011. Play on these pitches and you will be displaying skills you never knew you had! The six floodlit, 7-a-side sand dressed Astroturf pitches are the perfect setting for a game with your mates or a club training session. Entry to the pitches is through the main Sportspark entrance.
To maintain the surface of the pitches customers must observe the following restrictions regarding footwear:
- Shoes must be clean
- No spikes
- No blades
- No studs/moulds over 6mm
Leagues
Tuesday night 6-a-side
Norfolk County FA run a Tuesday night 6-a-side league at Sportspark. Teams can apply by contacting Adam Gusterson at Norfolk County FA on 01603 748944 or email county5IVES@NorfolkFA.com. For more information visit the Norfolk FA website.
Sunday student league
Sportspark now hosts a 6-a-side football league run by Norfolk County FA especially for students and costs just £15 per fixture. The league for students over 18 in full time education is held weekly every Sunday from 5-8pm, on our new synthetic grass 3G pitches. To register interest or for more information call Norfolk County FA on 01603 748944 or email County5IVES@NorfolkFA.com or pick up an application form from the Sportspark reception.
Please note, non-members playing in the leagues must pay a 60p guest fee on each visit. However, there is free entry to Educational Sportspark members. Educational membership is £17.50 per year. For more information visit visit the Sportscards page.
How to book
Block Bookings
To guarantee your pitch every week at your selected time please call 01603 593 403 or email events.sportspark@uea.ac.uk to arrange a block booking. For casual bookings please call Reception on 01603 592 398. We regret that casual bookings cannot be taken by email.
Members may
Book over the telephone (01603 592 398 Press Option 2) or in person.
Book up to 14 days in advance.
Cancel bookings or move them to another date up to the close of business the night before the booking (£2.00 fee applies).
Non-Members may
Book up to 7 days in advance, and are not able to move or cancel a booking.
Non-Members pay a Guest Fee of 60p per person.
