Healthy Ageing event 7 May 2011

A healthy ageing workshop is being held at Sportspark next month to provide cutting edge advice on skin health and optimum nutrition to promote a healthy appearance and a healthy body.  The workshop aims to show how individuals can promote healthy ageing from the inside and outside. The event is the second of its kind to be held at Sportspark and is back by popular demand after a previous workshop held in March was oversubscribed.

A three hour workshop is taking place on 7th May from 10am-1pm in the Terrace Room at Sportspark, based at the University of East Anglia. Nutritional Therapist Glen Matten will provide information on preventative measures that individuals can take to ensure they age healthily. Interactive sessions will be held on topics including antioxidants, vitamin D, inflammation and how to reduce the risk of illnesses associated with ageing, including heart disease, diabetes and common cancers. Beauty and skin therapist Louise Thomas-Minns will also be talking about skin ageing and the measures that can be taken to protect the skin.

The event is open to men and women of any age. The workshop costs £20. To book contact Glen Matten on 01603 890 439 or email
