Rush Hockey set to continue
April 16th, 2012
After a successful four week trial, Rush Hockey is set to continue for another eight weeks at Sportspark.
Rush Hockey is an adult game for both men and women and is aimed at all sporting abilities. The ball is bigger and lighter, so it’s easier and safer to play. It can be played all year round on indoor or outdoor surfaces. You can get involved simply by turning up and having a go. You don’t even need a stick!
The sessions will take place on Tuesday from 19:00-21:00 (that’s an extra 30 minutes!!) and on Wednesday from 13:00-14:00. The Sportspark will continue to trial these sessions from Tuesday 17th April until Wednesday 6th June. It is hoped that Rush Hockey will then continue indefinitely.
The drop-in sessions will now be charged at the promotional price of £2.00 for Members and £2.50 (plus 60p entrance fee) for Non-Members. Rush Hockey will be held in the sports halls until 9th May. After this date the sessions will be held outside on the astro pitches, so players can hopefully enjoy some summer weather while playing Rush Hockey.
