Our history
Sportspark opened in 2000 and has grown into one of the UK’s most successful community sport facilities. Funded primarily by the Lottery and Sport England, it has built its success on being accessible, affordable and offering a wide range of activities for as many people as possible.
Strong relationships with Sport England, Active Norfolk, local councils, schools and colleges have helped us create new programmes in partnership with National Governing Bodies. Programming remains at the core of what we do, and we continue to look for new ways to engage people who may not currently use Sportspark.

Olympic Length Swimming Pool
Sportspark offers a world-class pool, offering some of the finest swimming facilities in Britain. With a timetable featuring public swimming sessions, swimming lessons, Aquafit classes, family splash sessions and Swimfit, Sportspark’s 50m pool is perfect for both lane swimmers and fun seekers alike.

State of the Art Fitness Centre
Sportspark offers a 130+ station state-of-the art Fitness Centre, Personal Training sessions led by highly qualified and experienced Fitness Professionals and a timetable of over 60 group exercise classes to suit all abilities including Zumba, Pilates, Indoor Cycle, Circuits, Yoga and many Les Mills’ classes including BodyPumpTM and BodyBalanceTM.

400m Athletics Track
If you have ever fancied trying athletics, our facility is the best in Norfolk. You can come and use it as an individual or why not find out more about athletics through City of Norwich Athletic Club (CoNAC).
