Sportspark Price Review

As we’re set to celebrate Sportspark’s 25th Anniversary, our aim continues to be to maintain a competitive pricing structure that supports our strategy of broadening participation, improving wellbeing, and serving the community.

However, as we aim to retain the high standards and investment in both customer-facing facilities and infrastructure, we are facing some significant and unavoidable cost challenges. We do not take any price increases lightly and understand that any adjustments will have an impact on our customers, but with the recent living wage and national insurance cost increase coming into force from 1 April 2025 we’ve taken the decision to shift our annual price review to 1 April each year instead of September. This will therefore preclude any further review later in the year.

As before, we have undertaken a full pricing review taking into consideration a comparison of local provision and similar facilities in terms of both standard and services. We are confident that our pricing schedule continues to provide excellent value for money. All pricing information can be found on our web pages and within our pricing brochure below but, to summarise, prices from Monday 5 May 2025 will be impacted in the following ways:

  1. Pay and play prices will be increasing.
  2. Prices for confirmed pre-booked activities / events will be honoured at the current price but new bookings for post 5 May 2025 will be at the new prices.
  3. Memberships will see an increase for the first time in more than 10 years.

Sportspark memberships continue to provide the most cost-effective way of using Sportspark no matter your activity choice, and our members will once again benefit from a lower percentage increase in the majority of our pay and play pricing adjustments. To reward our most committed users is crucial to us and we hope you will continue to support us with your custom.

All Direct Debit customers will be written to directly to confirm details on how your fees will change and the adjustments we will be making to future payments. As further recognition of your commitment to Sportspark these will not be adjusted until the 1 June 2025 payments are due.

Updated prices for climbing will be communicated in due course.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of Sportspark and we look forward to continuing to support you across all of our programme areas.
